in the wake of a seemingly endless string of false destinations
wanderer, i've lost myself too many times before
through the orange skies (i flourished)
and the forests green (i fell through)
the patterns i saw in the sky fell asleep to the brightest pinks i've ever seen
black and violet waters' calm
and the late-november air tore through my spine like the words fused to the insides of my eyes
false intuition and the sky is calling
through my eyelids i can see the horizon
oh god, i can see the horizon as its' beautiful amethyst hue burns straight through...
