Snowfall
03:39
|
|
||
frozen ground and white tundras cold
surrounded by silence and the ghosts
i can't remember my name and i don't know the way home
passing out in the snow again with hopes to the grave
just let me fade away
take me far away from here
'cause i'd rather be with you than stagnant in decay
i'm drowning in the stars
you're drifting though my mind
i'll always adore the ways you shine
snowfall
take me far away from here
snowfall
like february on and on
snowfall
oh, how dull...
oh how dull these midwest winters get
(i'm drowning in the stars with you)

Counting My Losses
03:29
|
|
||
silence... and the night we sat on the rooftops hand in hand
through hail, sleet, and snow
i'm drowning in the stars again
singing 'til my voice collapsed
and i'm so afraid to ask- so i'm
counting my losses
counting my losses, leaving me thoughtless
i'm drowning in the stars again
and i'll write about all the seasons i've been ignorant
and i'll write...all those winter nights left over
i let myself fade out (of existence)
i watched myself walk away (disassociate)
"if the stars were an ocean..."
disassociate
landscapes covered in glorious ash
drifting away through an astral mass
black clouds over my grave eternal
purple skies before you
bog witch demigoddess infernal
"AND IF THE STARS WERE AN OCEAN, I WOULD HAVE FUCKING DROWNED BY NOW"

Xenogenesis
05:22
|
|
||
in the wake of a seemingly endless string of false destinations
wanderer, i've lost myself too many times before
through the orange skies (i flourished)
and the forests green (i fell through)
the patterns i saw in the sky fell asleep to the brightest pinks i've ever seen
black and violet waters' calm
and the late-november air tore through my spine like the words fused to the insides of my eyes
false intuition and the sky is calling
through my eyelids i can see the horizon
oh god, i can see the horizon as its' beautiful amethyst hue burns straight through...
"pink clouds met the golden sky,
a mid-summer suns' reflection in her eyes"
the patterns i saw in the sky fell asleep to the brightest pinks i've ever seen
through the orange skies (i flourished)
and the forests green (i fell-)
wanderer, i've lost myself too many times before
in the wake of a seemingly endless string of false destinations
.....fucKING XENOGENESIS
though my fucking eyelids i could see the horizon
oh god, i could see the horizon as its' beautiful amethyst hue burned straight through my flesh...so tangled up in you
so tangled up in you
so tangled up in you
i'm so tangled up in you
...the stars will forever scream my name
